Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, FAHS have jointly organised hands on training program under the banner of “SAMAJIK VIKAS–SGT KA PRAYASH” on 19 Sep, 2022 in village Khera Khurumpur, Farukhnagar. The theme of the training was innovative techniques for making of lemon pickle.
A total thirty, that is 15 women and 15 students from both faculties participated in programme under the observation of Dr Manjeet Panwar, Dr. Meenakshi Kumari and Dr. Vatsala Saharan. Students of Nutrition and Dietetics demonstrated whole procedure of making Lemon pickle.
Dr. Manjeet briefly discussed about establishing a Self Help Group (SHG). Dr. Meenakshi Kumari shared detailed information about preservation of Lemon pickle with good sanitation environment. Whereas, Dr. Vatsala Saharan discussed about successful story of women entrepreneur and explained about each and every ingredients health benefits used in lemon pickle.
