On the 124th World radiography Day / 8th International Day of Radiology (IDoR – 2019), Department of Radio-Imaging & Diagnosis and Association of Innovative Radiography (AIR), Faculty of Allied health Sciences & Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences celebrated this day on November 8th, 2019. Dr. B. B. Sharma, Head, Deptt. of Radiology addressed the students and sensitized them about the importance of this day. An informative lecture was delivered by Dr. Mir Rizwan, Astt. Prof. on the topic “How to Tackle Emergencies in Radiology Department”. This was followed by Rangoli competition in which students made Rangoli and cake cutting ceremony was also done in the presence of Dr. N. C Arora, Medical Superintendent, Dr. U. Lamba, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. B. B. Sharma Professor & Head, Department of Radio-Imaging & Diagnosis. Winners of the Rangoli Competition were also rewarded.
