A day long excursion cum industrial visit was organised by Department of Microbiology under Faculty of Allied Health Sciences to Parle G factory located in Bahadurgarh industrial area. For both students and the faculty members accompanying them, it was like revisiting their childhood memories. The company which came into being in 1929 has been making biscuits and confectionaries since a long time. Students were briefed about their rich history, production methods of all the famous biscuits like krackjack, Monaco, hide and seek to name a few. It was a fun filled day of learning and leisure activity.
