On the occasion of ‘POSHAN MAAH’ 2019, M.Sc students along with faculty members, Dr. Akanksha Yadav and Dr. G.B Bhatt under ‘’Nutri Care Association’’ from Nutrition & Dietetics Department, S.G.T University visited Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi, on 4th September 2019. The objective of this visit was to give practical knowledge to students about the principles and procedures of milk and milk products. The students were introduced to the Mother Dairy, about its history, working procedures etc. by the HR department. Lastly, students visited the whole campus, working machinery, milk and milk products processing with new technologies, pasteurization process, bottling and packaging of milk and milk products. Students correlated their theoretical knowledge with practical experience and in this way they will never forget the principles and processing of milk and milk products. In future also, students are willing to visit such kind of industrial and processing units.
