The newly inducted students of Department of Microbiology and Nutrition and dietetics under Faculty of Allied Health sciences visited the campus of ICAR, New Delhi. They mainly visited the Plant biotechnology department where students were first briefed about the history of the institute. This was followed by a presentation on the kind of research activities being currently under taken by the esteemed institute. After this the students were divided into smaller groups for various lab visits which included the tissue culture lab, genomics to name a few. It was a great learning experience and a source of motivation for all the new students. The students were accompanied by faculty members Dr. Govind Bhat, Dr. Akanksha Yadav, Dr. Sonia Goel and Dr. Upasana Sharma.
