Microcosm association, under the department of Medical laboratory technology& Microbiology, Faculty of Allied Heath Sciences organized a hospital visit on 12th September in one of the most renowned hospital, Aakash Super speciality hospital, Dwarka. The aim of this trip was to educate and acquaint the students the latest technological advances in laboratory techniques.The students were accompanied by 2 faculty members, Ms. Suchandra, Ms. Rushna. Students visited ‘Central laboratory’ where they initially learnt about basic procedures of sample collection followed by visit in different sections like Microbiology, Biochemistry,Clinical Pathology, Serology where they were explained about newer methodologies and instrument handling.Students interacted with officials and understood the detailed working. It was a real learning experience, observing newer technologies and instruments. It was an interesting and informative visit for the students.
