Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences and Optometry, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, SGT University, under the aegis of SGT Ophthalmological Association and Oculus Academy organised a workshop on “- ” on 17th Jan, 2022.
The workshop was aimed at upgrading the skills of Residents, Optometry Students and faculty of Ophthalmology & Optometry in the techniques of Comprehensive Evaluation of patients of both Congential and Acquired Ptosis in both paediatric and adult age group. Ptosis being a common anomaly of the lids in the paediatric age group and as it can be a casue of amblyopia too, this topic needs special attention both at the level of optometrists and Ophthalmologists.
After a brief inauguration by Prof M.Ezaz Hussain, -, …, & , , welcomed the dignitaries and guest faculty and highlighted the importance of this workshop.
The Guest Speaker , , , , , has a rich teaching and clinical experience. She is Squint and oculoplasty Specialist of national repute. She has more than 70 publications in indexed Journals. She has many Presentations at national & International forums, as invited Guest Faculty.The workshop began with a lecture on the various aspects of the topic followed by Hands on Demonstration of all the important and essential steps and tests.
