Department of Environmental Science, Faculty of Allied Health Science organized a guest lecture on air pollution on 10th February, 2018. Eminent speaker Dr. A. K. Haritash, Assistant Professor, Delhi Technical University delivered lecture and shared his knowledge on problem of air pollution.
Dr. V.K. Govila, Dean Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, welcome the guest by presenting sapling and Dr. T. D. Dogra (Professor, Emeritus of Department of Forensic Medicine & Forensic Science) presented the memento of the university to Dr. Haritash as a token of love.
Dr Haritas stressed the importance of clean air and need to prevent air pollution. He also suggested remedial measures to combat air pollution. Dr Archna Chaudhary, HOD, Dr Manbir Singh, Dr Simranjeet Singth, Dr Vikram Mor of Environmental Science and Faculty members of FAHS, Hotel Management, Mass Communication, Nursing and Pharmacy were also present on the occasion. Students from various faculties participated and interacted with the speaker.
