A guest lecture by Prof. Namrata Sharma (Professor in Dr. Rajendra Prasad Center for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, heading the Cornea unit laid) was delivered in SGTU on Advances in Refractive Surgery. She emphasized that Lasik is an excellent procedure to get rid of spectacles however it depends on the profile of the patient and the type of procedure varies from patient to patient. Students felt delighted as it was an inspiring interaction with a very senior faculty from one of the most reputed Institute of India like AIIMS. The event concluded with the Vote of thanks by the Faculty member.
