Faculty of Allied Health Sciences organized a guest lecture by Prof Pratik Kumar, Head, Institute Rotary cancer hospital, AIIMS, New Delhi on the topic “Basics of Radiation protection as applicable to radiology” for the students of Radio-imaging technology on 22 Feb 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The Pro Chancellor Dr. T D Dogra, Advisor Mr. N K Singh graced the occasion with their presence at the TV Studio, 3rd floor, B Block. The guest lecturer covered basics of radiation physics, units of radiation, radiation dosimetry and rules of radiation protection.
