1 The students of second year do the survey of patients suffering from various diseases and plan a day’s diet appropriate for them. At the end of the session student should be able to survey patients of various diseases and identify their nutritional need and plan appropriate therapeutic diet for them. To practice to plan a day diet for patient suffering from-

  • Fever,
  • Typhoid
  • Tuberculosis
  • CVDs
  •  Diseases of GIT
  • Liver diseases
  • Kidney diseases
  • Diabetes Mellitus
  • Nutritional anemia
  • Obesity
  • PEM
  • Cancer.

2 Maintain logbook of patients and their diets and at the end of academic year the faculty concerned will evaluate their logbooks. To make able students to plan nutritionally adequate and scientifically appropriate therapeutic diets for various disease conditions. 3 Teaching aids used by dietitians. To impart education to prepare various types of educational materials for dietetic education and counselling of patients suffering from various diseases. To cover the topic-

  • Hypertension,
  • Diabetes,

4 Computer application To make able student to use and explain computer applications for dietetics and its role in management/ administration, education/training/ and research. To cover the topic-

5 Project planning for any one disease. To develop skill to plan and execute dietetic project on any disease. To Plan a project for one disease, execute the plan in real situation, collection, management of project data.

6 Submitting computed data. To impart education and skill to plan and execute feeding and analysis of dietetic project data on computers. To feed and analysis project   data, submit computed data of the assigned project work and report writing.

Preparation of case history of a patient. To make student able to prepare and store patient case history and feeding information on computer hard disc. To prepare case history of a patient with recording of feeding information and submitting data on assigned work in hard disc and hard copy as well.
